Music Italy Show stems from a collaboration between the Association Dismamusica — Distribution, Industry, Musical Instruments and Artisans — and BolognaFiere, Bologna's exhibition center. More than 100 exhibitors will be present representing over 400 international brands of musical instruments. Not your usual trade show, the three-day event includes more than 100 live performances on three different stages, a rich program of workshops and seminars and numerous special events such as Love Me Fender, an exhibit which includes some of the most artistically significant examples of the legendary brand of electric guitars Fender and 26 related works by contemporary artists including paintings, sculptures, photographs and installations. In addition, following a six-city roadshow, Music Italy Show will host the finals of the "Guitar Hero" contest where the winner will challenge a world-class guitarist.
